A Book on Week St. Mary

Week St. Mary Village

'a community at large'

There are bound to be stories, rumours, unconfirmed facts or tales of old that did not come to light by the time this book reached the printers but I hope that the story so far will become my permanent contribution to the village I know and love, and I thank all of the contributors so very much for all their memories, photographs and documents - thank you everyone, all I have done is put it all together!

Week St. Mary Village
'a community at large'

by David M. Martin

(Cover by John Lynch, depicting Thomasine Bonaventure meeting Richard Bumsby)

A unique book with over 230 photographs, many not seen before, and personal reflections from many local people along with stories, points of interest and pages of odd snippets of information. I know there will be something for everyone.

To compile a book such as this would be impossible without the help of a large number of people. I shall be eternally grateful to the following who have contributed so much.
